Dolls need funky clothes — wet-felting a coat can be done in a few hours once you have the skills. Felted garments ad a lovely contrast to sewn and knitted garments. In this workshop you will learn to make a coat using beautiful merino wool roving. We will also include some silk fibres and other lovely inclusions into the felt. The coat will be made using a resist — so it will have now seams.

Even with no previous felting skills you will be able to make a lovely garment that can afterwards be embellished with embroidery.

Cost: Euro 115 (Includes material fee)

Please bring with you: 2 bath towels and the doll you would like to make a coat for — Wet felting involves the use of water and you might want to bring a waterproof apron or a change of clothes. Wear comfortable shoes — we do a lot of standing.

To make a doll look more fully dressed, shoes and a bag are in order  — using wet-felting technique and wool batt in various colours can make lovely and warm looking boots quite fast — leather soles and rivets can be added to dress up your felted basic boot. Especially shoes made for smaller dolls look just adorable. Bags and boots are made with the same technique using a resist that is felted around. You can choose in the workshop which you would like to make, and you might  be able to make both.

Even with no previous felting skills you will be able to make a pair of shoes that can afterwards be embellished with embroidery.

Cost: Euro 65 (includes material fee)

Please bring with you: 2 bath towels, pen, notepad and the doll you would like to make boots for — Wet felting involves the use of water and you might want to bring a waterproof apron or a change of clothes. Wear comfortable shoes — we do a lot of standing.
