WORKSHOP 3

DOLL PHOTOGRAPHY

Payment Two: 385 USD to Fabiola (approximately 345 euros).

Maximum number of students: 8

June 14th

This year I am introducing Digital Doll Photography workshops as it is an area not often discussed in doll making but highly valuable in order to display your collection and advertise your doll making work if you sell your dolls. Doll photography is one of my passions and I am so excited to share this with you.

The workshop will teach you important concepts regarding composition, lighting and styling. During the morning session we will come up with a tailored styling setting for indoor photography and during the afternoon session we will shoot outside.

We will go over three settings on your DSLR camera: Shutter Speed Priority, Aperture Priority and Manual, in order for you to feel basically comfortable with all three and choose the one that comes closest to your heart and the way you wish to display your dolls.

At the end of the workshop, I will give you a PDF workbook file that contains all info given to you during our workshop, as well as some links for helpful tutorials on how to post-process your photos in Photoshop or other photography-editing software. I will not teach you how to edit your photos but will give you helpful guidance regarding this subject.

The workshop runs for one full day, beginning at 8:30 AM and ending at 6 PM, with a one hour break for lunch. To attend this workshop you will have to make TWO payments.

Payment One: Purchase your seminar ticket from the International Waldorf Doll Seminar website. Upon purchase of your ticket, you can then contact me to book your class.

Payment Two: 345 euros (via current USD exchange to me).

Payment one covers your entry to the seminar, plus all available amenities from the seminar organizers.

Payment two covers your workshop tuition. You will need to bring three things: a DSLR camera, your doll and some suitable props. Before our workshop takes place I will send you a Styling Guide that will help us sort out which kind of props you need to bring, in order to tell your particular photographic journey. Upon payment, you will receive a confirmation email from me, with all pertinent info regarding the workshop, plus a list of homework in preparation for the class.

None of these payments cover accommodation, transportation or anything else.

RESTRICTIONS. You are warmly encouraged to take all techniques and instruction shared with you and apply them to your body of work. You are not allowed to share the digital file shared with you, in any of its parts or in any form. The e-book and instruction are under copyright to Fabiola Perez | Fig and Me Toys 2019.

Thank you so much for trusting me to guide you in this doll making journey and for allowing me to share my passion with you. See you in Arlon!
